What are Social Bike Rides?
Social Rides are relaxed, guided group rides designed to bring people together through cycling. Whether you’re visiting the area or call it home, these rides are a great way to discover scenic routes, local highlights, hidden gems, and beautiful surroundings while enjoying the company of fellow riders.
More than just a bike ride, Social Rides are about connecting with people, exploring the region, and enjoying the journey together.
Who is it for?
Social Rides are open to everyone who enjoys cycling in good company.
They are perfect for:
- Visitors who want to explore the area beyond the usual tourist spots.
- Local residents looking to discover new routes and meet fellow cyclists.
- Solo travelers, couples, friends, and families.
- Riders of all experience levels who are comfortable cycling for a few hours.

Pace Groups
The Social Ride is ridden at one social group pace, and all participants are expected to stay with the group.
Safety & Group Etiquette
Your safety and enjoyment are our priority. All Social Rides are led by an experienced Ride Leader and conducted in accordance with local traffic regulations.
To ensure a safe and enjoyable experience for everyone, participants are expected to:
- Wear an approved cycling helmet at all times.
- Ride in an orderly manner, either single or double file, as directed by the Ride Leader and road conditions.
- Communicate clearly and consistently within the group.
- Respect the group’s pace and stay with the ride.
- Arrive punctually at the meeting point, ready to ride.
By following these simple guidelines, we can ensure a safe, friendly, and enjoyable ride for all participants.
What Do You Need to Participate?
- A bike in good working condition.
- An approved cycling helmet.
- Appropriate cycling clothing.
- Water and any snacks you may need.
- A basic repair kit, including a spare tube.
- Acceptance of the Social Ride rules and guidelines.
Bike Rental: If you need to rent a bike, please reserve it at least one day in advance. Rental bikes must be collected from our shop at 19:30 (7:30 PM) on the evening before the ride.
Just bring a positive attitude and be ready to enjoy the ride with the group!
How Does Registration Work?
Joining a Social Ride is simple:

- Scan the QR code on the flyer.
- Complete the registration form via Linktree.
- Accept the Social Ride rules and guidelines.
- Join the WhatsApp group for ride information and updates.
- Download the GPX route when available.
The WhatsApp group is used exclusively for organisational information and last-minute updates.
